Nurturing Wellness
Dr Meghan's approach focuses on enhancing your body's natural healing abilities, promoting relaxation, and relieving tension throughout the nervous system.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands on technique that enhances the body's natural healing ability by releasing physical restrictions and balancing the membrane of the craniosacral system to promote relaxation of the nervous system and related tissues.
How does it work?
Craniosacral Therapy involves manipulating the soft tissues, bones and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord with a light touch. It helps to regulate the cerebral spinal fluid, and relieve stress and dysfunction deep in the body.
Who can benefit from this?
Infants: breastfeeding issues, breech position, chronic ear infections, colic, c-section birth, digestion issues, reflux, head asymmetry, torticollis, oral restrictions (tongue/lip ties)
Children: ADD/ADHD, chronic ear infections, chronic sinus infections, falls and injuries, behavioral issues, developmental delays, sleep concerns
Adults: migraines, headaches, sinus conditions, chronic neck and back pain, trauma or impact injuries from car accidents/falls, anxiety, TMJ pain/dysfunction
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT)
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle form of bodywork that unwinds fascial strain throughout the body. By relieving the fasical strain, this allows optimal mobility and brain function. CFT is based on the theory that the Craniosacral and Fasical Systems are not separate but one interconnected system.
How does it work?
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy works through subtle and intentional touch by identifying facial strains and then assisting with the release. CFT reduces tension throughout the body to promote optimal alignment and improve the functioning of the nervous system.
Who can benefit from this?
Infants: Birth trauma, oral restrictions (tongue tie/lip tie), torticollis, head asymmetry, colic, reflux, gas, constipation, difficulty with latch, difficulty sucking, sleeping, earaches, general fussiness.
Children: Asthma, earaches, chronic ear infections, concussions, ADHD/ADD, learning disorders, sinus conditions, anxiety, neck pain, digestive issues, bedwetting, headache, scoliosis.
Adults: headaches/migraines, concussion, TMJ, oral restrictions, back/neck pain, digestive issues, hip pain, sinus conditions, anxiety/depression, sleep issues/airway, whiplash, scars
